- Winter Retreat Update from Rilee
Lilli: 22 People registered, and Rilee booked the location. Anyone able to plan logistics? Will follow up with Jenn on that. Looks like there is movement on that. Any thoughts on winter retreat?

- Open House committee
Lilli: It’s a good time to start thinking about the OH committee. Tricia left us a little note. *reads agenda*
Lilii: I think it would be good to start forming a student open house committee with a rep and open to the border student community. I can send out an email to the whole JP student community. Then we can have a dedicated meeting.
Paige: Two emails sent. One, do you want to volunteer and two, what do you want to help out with.
Lilli: Is there a date?
Keqi: Monday March 10th at MIT and Tuesday March 11th at WHOI. At WHOI there is breakfast and dinner.
Lilli: Would you (Keqi) like to be involved in the meeting?
Keqi: Yes!
Lilli: Last year for the WHOI dinner, you were matched with their buddies.
Keqi: Were there only students? Or were faculty involved?
Lilli: Faculty involved mostly during the day. Dinner for students to chat and be comfortable. Two months will be a good timeline.
Keqi: Tuesday there will be a coffee to chat with Rob. I don’t want to order too much stuff. How many students are here right now?
Paige: There are a decent number of students in engineering down here right now.
Keqi: Would students come down on the bus?
Paige: The number of students at MIT is also low (either at WHOI or on vacation) There are a lot of AOPE students in the Village right now.
Lilli: There are very few students right now, not as many that come on the bus.
Lilli: Before we end, Lawrence, did you have anything you wanted to discuss?
Lawrence: No, just wanted to listen
Hiroki: Talked to Scott about how to access the website. He uploaded a document on how to update the website. Hiroki added to the listserv/ can update the website now.
Lilli: Can you fix the funding request page?
Hiroki: I’m not sure. I just got the email. I have to get back tot.
Lilli: Keep us posted on this.
Hiroki: I will let you and Scott know if there are issues.
Lilli: Great. Anything else for people to add. We will resume our usual schedule and email Tricia. It will be a good time to chat about Open House stuff.
